Solar panels function by converting sunlight into electricity through semiconductor materials. When sunlight hits the panels, it generates electron-hole pairs, leading to the creation of an electric current. An inverter then converts this current into usable AC electricity, making it suitable for powering homes and businesses.

Poly Crystaline, Mono crystasline,

Solar panel warranty period ranges between 25 to 30 years, depending on the type of solar panel you choose. Even after 25 to 30 years, solar panels continue to operate at 80% accuracy.

Among the many available brands, we recommend solar panels for their superior efficiency in generating units compared to others. Brands like Rayzon and Reneweys stand out, especially for their exceptional generation capabilities.

The size of a solar panel can vary based on factors such as wattage, design, and manufacturer. Solar panels are usually measured by their wattage, indicating the amount of electrical power they can generate under standard test conditions (STC). Typical solar panels range in size from approximately 15 square feet (1.4 square meters) to 24 square feet (2.2 square meters).

Solar panels primarily generate energy when exposed to sunlight, but they can still produce some electricity during cloudy days, early morning, late evening, and even in moonlight, although at significantly reduced rates. However, their output is minimal during nighttime or in complete darkness.

Going solar provides financial savings through reduced electricity bills, contributes to a sustainable environment by reducing carbon emissions, and offers energy independence. This shields against rising utility costs and protects against grid outages.

The hybrid solar system is grid-tied with battery storage. It features a specialized ‘smart’ inverter capable of efficiently transmitting direct current (DC) power to and from your batteries. Additionally, it can seamlessly channel alternating current (AC) power between the grid and your home as needed.

Off-Grid Solar Power System operates independently of the grid, equipped with batteries that store the solar power generated by the system.

On-Grid Solar Power System is a solar power generation system connected to the utility grid. The electricity produced by the system is routed to the grid, where it is used to power various appliances.

No maintenance is required as there are no moving parts. However, we recommend an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for projects exceeding 100 kW, which would be approximately 2% of the project cost annually. For solar plants below 100 kW, we can provide training for your personnel on how to clean the solar panels.

Solar energy provides numerous financial benefits:

1. Reduced Energy Bills: By generating your electricity, you can significantly reduce or even eliminate your monthly electricity bills, leading to substantial long-term savings.

2. Return on Investment (ROI): Although solar panel systems have a relatively high upfront cost, they typically pay for themselves over time, offering substantial ROI, especially with incentives and tax credits.

3. Tax Incentives: Many governments offer tax incentives and rebates to encourage solar adoption, such as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) in the United States, significantly reducing installation costs.

4. Net Metering: Earn credits for excess electricity your solar panels generate and feed back into the grid, offsetting future electricity bills during periods of lower energy production.

5. Increased Property Value: Solar panels can enhance the resale value of your home, attracting potential buyers interested in energy-efficient homes with lower operating costs.

6. Energy Independence: Producing your electricity makes you less reliant on fluctuating utility prices, providing stability amid rising energy costs.

7. Environmental Savings: While not a direct financial benefit, using solar power reduces your carbon footprint, aligning with corporate sustainability goals and potentially leading to long-term cost savings and improved brand reputation.

8. SREC Income: In some regions, you can earn income through Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) by selling the environmental benefits of your solar power generation.

9. Low Maintenance Costs: Solar panels have minimal maintenance requirements, resulting in low ongoing expenses once the system is installed.

10. Energy Storage Options: Pairing your solar system with energy storage (batteries) can further enhance financial benefits by allowing you to store excess energy for use during peak demand or power outages.

  • PPU (Per Unit Cost) = (Total Bill Amount – Demand Charges) / Total Units Consumed

  • Total Units Consumed = (Total Bill Amount – Demand Charges) / PPU

  • Project Size (KW) = Total Units Consumed / 111

  • Project Cost = Project Size * 50000

Solar is free for you; we can convert your electricity bill into EMI with 100% funding. After the loan tenure, enjoy free electricity for the next 25 years.

Interest subsidies for solar result in lower loan rates, rendering solar installations financially viable for a broader audience. By promoting investment and mitigating upfront costs, these subsidies play a crucial role in fostering the adoption of renewable energy. They contribute to sustainability goals and stimulate economic growth.

Thumb rule: 1 kW = 100 sq ft (Please note that this may vary depending on the site and type of installation).

Solar panels alone do not supply electricity during load shedding or power outages as they are designed to shut down for safety reasons. However, when combined with an energy storage solution such as batteries, solar panels can provide backup power. During daylight hours, the panels generate electricity, which is stored in the batteries. When the grid goes down, the stored energy can be utilized to power your home or essential appliances, ensuring reliable electricity during load shedding or outages. It is crucial to install a compatible battery system for this purpose.

Captive use refers to the utilization of solar panels for generating electricity onsite, directly powering the property or business. This approach provides cost savings, energy independence, and environmental benefits by reducing dependence on external grid power and utilizing renewable energy sources for internal needs.

Interest subsidy of 5-7% is available.

It depends on your monthly unit consumption. For example, if you consume 10,000 units in a month, then you require a 90 kW solar plant to make your electricity bill zero, considering 3.67 units per kW generation on a conservative side.

During the rainy season, solar panels continue to generate electricity, but their efficiency is reduced due to decreased sunlight. Cloud cover and rain limit direct sunlight, affecting the performance of solar panels.

Solar will not work at night as it generates electricity during the daytime only.

Approximately 25kg to 28kg.

We recommend an on-grid system for industrial users because an off-grid system with batteries can significantly impact your financial viability, leading to a higher breakeven point and lower Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

Generally, a 100kW solar installation takes about 2 months. The duration of the solar panel installation process can vary but typically spans a few months. The initial stages, including site assessment, design, and permitting, may take a few weeks to a couple of months. Equipment procurement usually takes a few weeks. The actual installation itself spans a few days to a couple of weeks, followed by inspection and interconnection, which might take an additional few weeks. Finally, testing, commissioning, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance are conducted to ensure the system’s efficiency and longevity. The overall timeline can be influenced by factors such as system size, local regulations, and weather conditions.

If the project size is small, there is no maintenance cost involved. You simply need to clean your panels twice a week. However, we also offer cleaning services, and if you’re interested, we can provide you with a quotation.

Utilizing solar energy in the chemical industry has the potential to save costs and minimize environmental impact, contingent on the energy requirements and infrastructure of the company.

Landlords can install solar panels on rental properties, but they should first check local regulations and lease terms. Consideration of costs, potential energy savings, and property value enhancements is crucial. Open communication with tenants is vital to reach an agreement before implementing any changes. If landlords grant permission, tenants may also install solar panels with mutual understanding.
